Is it normal for your heart to race when you’ve been broken up with?

Do you think I should of have broken up with my boyfriend over this?
Posted by: | CommentsA few months ago, he wanted to hang out alone with an ex. I was this close to breaking up with him, but I didn't. They ended up not hanging out. She wanted us to break up, but she's out of his life now. But now I wonder, did I do the right thing to stay by his side through it all? I feel like maybe, just maybe back then, I didn't have his heart 100%, you know?
