How do I comfort my friend who has just broken up with her long term boyfriend?

My friend has been with this guy for over a decade and besides being his gf, she has also been helping him in his career and to build up his business. He cheated on her once but she took him back. Now he has cheated on her a second time and this time he wants out. My friend is heartbroken and feels totally lost now. Besides being a listening ear, is there anything else I can do to help?

What happened that made you realize you weren’t meant to spend the rest of your life with someone? Did you eventually go back to your gf/bf?

Posted by: | CommentsMy gf broke up with me a few weeks ago. We ended it on good terms overall and we talked very briefly a few days later. But we haven’t spoken to each other since and I’ve even tried writing to her to see if we can talk and be friends, but no reply. Seems odd that we haven’t spoken. Thoughts?
