Posted by: | Commentsokay, me and my best friend have known each other for quite some time now (since the 6th grade, we're now in the 11th) We decided to start dating last year (in january), in April i became confused and for some reason i actually got my sister to call him and break up with him for me…now i really want to go out with him again but he's still mad at me about it…i need help with what i should do to try to get him to forgive me…
I have a best friend who just split up with thier significant other of more than a year, about a year and five months say. I'm wondering what the rule of thumb is about this. I have always said that someone who has been dating someone else for over a year should wait at LEAST a month before dating someone else. Three weeks if both are alright with it. What's the deal? Everyone says two weeks, one even, but I have no clue! I'm sorta a sage for friends seeking advice (which is constantly) so I'm just looking for a different point of view.

But I believe he is still trying to get with her, and I just keep getting lies.
