On Tuesday my ex girlfriend (she broke up with me stating that we just weren’t right for each other) asked me if I wanted to get some dinner with her on Wednesday. I said sure and she said she would call me on Wednesday and we would go from there. On Wednesday she calls me right when she knows I get back into town (4:50). I didn’t feel my phone vibrate so I missed the call. She didn’t leave a message and my phone never said I missed the call. I waited until 7pm then checked my recent calls and saw that she did call. I called her back and left a message. She called me 10 minutes later and said she ate like at 5:30 and figured I was busy or something. She only tried once and never tried to call again. So then she said maybe we could get dinner on Thursday. It’s been 2 months since we broke up and we’ve only hung out once since then. I still love her with all my heart and want to get back together with her, but I just don’t know how she feels. By the way, we are both 24 yrs old and dated for 14 months. Why do you think she would invite me to dinner, but then not really care if we went to dinner or not? In her defense she has been really busy moving into a new house she built and this weekend she has to go to a friend’s wedding out of state. What can I do or say to try and reconcile with her and show her she’s the only girl I want in my life?
