How to get closure when broken up through text?

How do u get the emotional closure you need to establish new meaningful relationships if the person you were dating before broke up through text message and now won't answer or respond to your calls?
Don't be mistaken, I do not want him back and have met two people since who are really interested. I just don't feel ready to date anyone because I can't trust

It's incredibly difficult. There really isn't anything you can do if he/she won't answer any means of contact you attempt.
However, if it's any solace, karma is a b!tch. I broke up with my last gf via email (it seemed like a good idea at the time, I was mortified of hurting her and seeing her cry but just didn't want to be with her anymore… terrible mistake) and have had horrible luck with women ever since. I haven't had anything better than a couple dates or a partial hookup in SEVERAL YEARS. Maybe he/she will find the same terrible luck.
