Guys and Girls: Have you ever broken up with someone for someone else?

I’m especially interested to find out if any of you broke up with someone that you said you loved. When did you finally decide that you wanted to be with someone else? What happened that made you realize you weren’t meant to spend the rest of your life with someone? Did you eventually go back to your gf/bf?
