How do I find out if my divorce decree has been processed and filed?

I had my final divorce hearing in January. Representing myself, and agreeing to pay her lawyer. The time has passed for the chance to appeal, I did not appeal. I have not seen my decree and that makes me feel like I am still legally married. Since I represented myself I don't have a lawyer to go through. How can I find out the status of my divorce?

The judgment for dissolution of marriage, or whatever you call it in the county where the divorce was filed, was signed and dated by the judge and made a part of the record the day of your hearing. Call the court house and ask for a certified copy, they'll be a charge.
